NEW COURSE: Finnish Language Basic Course 7, level B1.2 (30 hours) Time    13th of August – 30th of August 2012, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 16.30–19.00 (30 h) Place    Oulu, the participants will be informed by a letter or e-mail Teacher    Anne Palokangas, BA Anne has a long experience in teaching different kinds of courses in Finnish as a foreign language. Her special areas of interest are different cultures and international and social activities. Target group    Students who have completed Finnish Language Basic Courses 1–6 or who have studied Finnish language more than a year Teaching materials    Textbook Hyvin menee! 2 and a dictionary, both of which the student must bring along when coming to the course. Contents    Deepening the basic practical skills of Finnish; the main points of chapters 13–18 in the textbook will be studied on the course. The chapters have to do with Finland and happenings.  In addition to the lessons the students are advised to spend about two hours per day on homework. Besides Finnish other languages will be used as an aid on the courses whenever possible.
